Hi all,
I've been converting MKVs to MP4s to watch high-quality movies on my PS3 for quite a while now. However, the past two conversions I've noticed that the video is very patchy. The audio is uneffected. It's still watchable, and my last conversion was actually a little better than my most recent one, but it's bothering me not knowing what the problem is.
I use VisualHub for my conversions. The only thing that has changed between my last perfect conversions and my last 2 choppy ones is that I've gotten a new G-router. Actually, the MP4 itself when watched on the iMac is choppy, but not as noticeable as on the PS3 (I figured that this was due to the fact that I am watching on a 24" screen on my mac while watching on a 40" screen on my PS3). But I don't think it is possible for a MP4 to become choppy during a simple transfer. Or is it?
Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks!
