Mission: To convert 30 FCP same as source files into WMVs, lengths range from 5min to 30min. PAL formated, client doesn't need format converted.
Problem: Half went through and play fine, half didn't. The video will stall for 5-60 frames at a time, but the audio will play fine.
This is the second time I've had to do this on this project. First time was last month before IT upgraded everything (not my idea). The first time 8 out of 30 had issues, but worked the second time through when I manually put in 320x240 instead of relying on the check box. That fix is not working this time. The files are currently just reference files, but while troubleshooting I made some self contained. The video still stalled at the same place though. I exported as DV and it still froze in the same spots. I ran them through JES deinterlacer first in case it was a PAL issue, same problem. I re-exported, same problem. I moved the files and ran off the internal drive instead of the firwire drive, same problem. I dropped the bitrate from 384 to 250, same problem. I went off Visualhubs quality slide bar at standard setting, same problem. I changed machines and again, same problem...
I am kind of running out of ideas other than changing programs... Got any ideas?
