VisualHub Performance on New 2008 MacPro

how would i go about benchmarking it

I have the rec. config. MacPro 2.8ghz 8-core 2 gig with a 320 & 750 hd.....for a full length movie from mpeg 4 to h.264 that the ps3 can read it takes about 27 minutes.

iStat pro shows 30% cpu usage on 1 processor so i am assuming a better threaded program should do it much faster
