I have a YAS-108 soundbar, Xbox One and Apple TV 4K. Long story short, the TV doesn't recognize all of the devices as CEC, and plugging in the Apple TV into any port seems to disable CEC entirely.

Walkthrough:

  1. Plugging in the YAS-108 into HDMI ARC and nothing else - TV sees it as a CEC device. It appears as an input and also when manually scanning for CEC devices
  2. I add Xbox One to another port, CEC and TV remote still working fine, YAS still recognized. However, the Xbox One isn't seen as a CEC device. Just the YAS-108)
  3. But when I plug the Apple TV into ANY port (or even into the HDMI IN in the soundbar), the TV stops seeing the YAS-108 as a CEC device, TV remote won't control soundbar, and scanning manually returns "no CEC devices connected"). I've tried it with and without the Xbox plugged in, and I've tried every different HDMI cable I have in the house. Also have completed reset and updated the Apple TV numerous times, and turned off CEC in the Apple TV.
Any ideas? Never had any issues with my prior TV (which sadly died due to a power surge last weekend.)

(Edit - now I see that, when plugged directly into the soundbar, the ATV won't pass any signal, though it works fine with other ports, and other devices pass signal fine when plugged directly into the soundbar. It also passed through fine previously).

Thanks,
M
