First of all, I'm new to this forum, so please forgive me if this is being posted in the wrong section.
I'm having some trouble with the applications Adium and VLC. I was already having those problems with my old MacBook White and, when I migrated to my new 13" MacBook Pro two weeks ago, not only did they continue but VLC started having them too. What happens is that I launch the apps and start using them, but, for no identifiable reason, they crash after a while. Adium usually does so after about 2 minutes of use. VLC takes a while longer, crashing after some 25 minutes or so. Both applications are up to date. I'm using Mac OS 10.6.7.
