Vlc app crashes eith my ipad

Hi i hv transfer some of my avi movie into vlc app but when i try to play the movie i was kick out to the home screen. Do u guys hv such problem? Is there any way to solve it

What OS are you running (3.X.X/4.2)

Reboot. If it persists, reinstall VLC too.

Mine is 3.2.1 do i need to update my os to run vlc app?

Since it came out after 3.2.2 you may want to upgrade to that. You also may want to check what the requirements are for the video. It may be the problem as well.

Virtually any app can kick you back to the home screen, and a reboot fixes it. If an app is corrupted (if that's still possible), delete and reinstall. Obviously updating the OS will have the same effect.
