I have a quick question.

I download movies directly from my iPhone using the safari download manager.

I also have iFile.

I want to know what's the VLC video player app folder so I can save the movies to that folder like that it can show up on the vlc app ? Thanks.

Use iFile to do a search for vlc. Make sure you hit the hierarchical search and not a directory search, and start it at the root of the filesystem (/)
I know you can start the search at /private/var/mobile/Applications but the method I just explained will help you find anything in the future.

It's in some crazy folder with a bunch of numbers and letters.

I found it. But where in the vlc app folder do I exactly have to paste the video so it can show in the vlc app ? Like there's a couple folders there I don't know witch one of those do I have to save the movie for it to be shown in the vlc app it self. Thanks again.

save a movie into VLC via iTunes, and see where it pops up in the iFile hierarchy.

Exactly. Come on, Tito! I gave you pearls! Pearls I say! :D

Locate VLC.app in the folder with all the numbers and letters. You should see a folder called Documents (not IN VLC.app but a folder in the same directory as VLC.app) That's the jackpot.

On another note, VLC is SO awesome. Goodbye Videora/Handbrake conversions!

Any ideas ? & one thing I could play the file on vlc it works. But I have to go on ifile and click it to open. But that's uncomfortable I wanna be able to just play it from the app on it's own. Thanks lol I feel like I'm asking for too much.

Yeah, Tito, that's my bad.

I edited my post from before because I realized that you put it in the Documents folder, not inbox.

Sorry for the confusion! (I just tried doing this by copying into Documents and it works, VLC generated the thumbnail and all and I was able to watch the video with no problems) Refer to my screenshot, you'll see that inbox actually wasn't expanded and the video files were in Documents.

I'm sure you'll be Rick Rossin till it causes T-Pain in your ears now.
