VLC hiccups with my 2012 MBA ?

Hi

I had plenty of Macs before and never had problems with watching movies with VLC

now with my 2012 MBA, i sometimes (not to say often) get hiccups in VLC

anything wrong with the SSD or Intel 4000 video chip ?

Is it a sound hiccup? Because I had that problem with VLC 2.0.3, reverted back to 0.2 and no problems.

There's an update for Mountain Lion. The old version won't start up if you have GateKeeper set to block content from untrusted developers. Temporarily change your GateKeeper settings, open up VLC, and the update should download automatically.
