I like how the Windows (and Linux iirc) version of VLC displays the stream info on the player GUI.

Really nice to have the stream info on the player when playing an online radio station, and you want to know the author and title of the song being played. I loathe having to press cmd-I to see the info in the OSX version.

Anyone know how I can tweak this? I know I could just used iTunes, but some times I just want to run a stream and iTunes would be overkill. Like opening up a word processor when all I want to do is make a quick .txt note. I'd just like to make the OSX version of VLC look more like the WinOS and iirc Linux versions.

Thanks :)
