VLC...how do I start it? Where is the icon?

Subject says it all...I have to be doing something incredibly dumb. I've tried to install it several times. It says it installed successfully, but where is it. Is it just a plugin that runs in another app. I didn't get that impression from the web site. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I'm running Leopard.

Installing VLC is a simple as dragging the application from the disk image into /Applications.

Did you do something more then that?

I'm an idiot...I downloaded the wrong file...I grabbed the plugin...arrrgghh. My apologies.

I forgot they have a separate plug-in as well in addition to the standard player.
