VLC is v. buggy in Leopard!

I'm becoming increasingly sick of VLC's bugginess in Leopard. The iRemote doesn't work, and the control strip in the video window will very often disappear! Anyone have any idea if they're going to post an update soon?

It is really frustrating. If you make the window larger the timeline slider will usually come back but it's not a universal problem. I've gone back to using quicktime pro ::shudder:: until they release an update.
