hi, i got some high def clips that are 1920x1080. But i read that with VLC player it is 1920x1088 so it fills the extra 8 pixels on the bottom with a grey bar.

Its just annoying to have when viewing in full screen but was wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of the grey bar?

this guy told me to do this

- Use photoshop or equivalent software to make a 2000*8px black .png image
- Go to VLC player, Settings -> Preferences
- Click Advanced mode from the bottom right of the screen
- Under general settings, go to Subpictures
- Set "Subpictures filter mode [Logo sub filter]
- Under modules, go to sub filter -> logo
- Enter the png you created
- Set "Logo position [Bottom]
- Click Save

however i believe the subpictures only works in the windows version cause i cant find that option in VLC player. If the mac version has it can someone direct me on how to do it. Thanks.
