VLC Taking two hours to download

Hi,

I couldn't play .Avi files for some reason (I copied movies over from my Windows PC to the external HD) so I downloaded VLC to try and solve this problem.

In the 'Downloads' tab it says it's going to take two hours to download.

Could anyone tell me if they experienced this long period for it to download?

What bandwidth are you purchasing from your ISP?

Try downloading it again from another mirror. This happens with FireFox all the time as well.

Maybe it's because I'm downloading something in uTorrent, this is probably taking up all my bandwidth.

Happened on my Windows PC all the time, I guess it's the same principle on here.

Of course. Bandwidth is not attached to a certain OS.
