VLC was taking 12GB of RAM !!

I don't know why but suddenly my iMac started acting so slow, so I decided to open activity monitor and i was shocked to see that VLC was taking 12GB of RAM


Don't know why that happened, i just felt like sharing it. Did any one run into similar situation?

Delete all files from it and re-dowload the app.
