VLC won't screen capture from DVDs

Hey,

I have been able to grab screenshots from avi videos on my computer, but when trying to grab a screenshot directly from a DVD, I get this error:

main: no suitable encoder module for fourcc ` '.
VLC probably does not support this image format.
main: could not create snapshot /Users/directory

I just changed the directory here because it's irrelevant.

I'm running VLC 0.8.6e and OSX 10.5.2 if that makes any difference.

Try using a 3rd party screen capture app.
Some companies add copy-protection to their DVDs so people can't post still all over the internet.

Copernicus might work.
