I am (trying) to use VLC to import DVDs into my iTunes library unsuccessfully. Can anybody tell me how to perform this operation?
 
I don't know that you can do that....I also don't know that you can't...but you need the video to be in a specific format to view it via iTunes library. You could use Handbrake, it's free.

Once handbrake opens, there is a Drawer panel on the right side that you can open, and it has presets for all kinds of devices.

Hey, I don't know personally if anything can be done but found this link which explains your question. You can try this, it's the Part 2 that talks about VLC. Hope was able to help you. Cheers!
