By using activator to make vlingo launch from holding down my up volume and Dragon Go launched from holding down the down volume I feel like I've got a poor mans Siri setup up on my ip4.

It doesn't talk to me but I can voice text messages and emails. I can verbally look up directions, reviews, web searches and even tell my phone to stream music from pandora, spotify and more.

I can't verbally set up reminders, can't get everything.

I've just got this setup but it seems to kinda work but I'm still getting used to it.

Pretty interesting how I wasn't really interested in utilizing the voice dictation capabilities of existing apps until apples announcement of Siri.

LOL, with the announcement of Siri, I started looking at these alternatives.

Dragon Go! is too messy for me. It seems like it does a lot, but maybe it's just me.... super laggy.

Vlingo only does a few things, but I like it better.

I activate it my sliding my finger from the bottom-left/bottom-right of the screen. Activator is my life. All my buttons have dual uses.
