So I'm trying to see if a windows client app will be able to access a SQL database under Fusion. The tech guy who's been helping us get our systems up and running told me to look into it before we made any purchases, but I've been having a hard time tracking down a confirmation. Has anyone had any luck with this type of application? He said there may be an issue with the software communicating to the SQL language or whatever (as you can tell I'm pretty green to all this networking/database stuff).
I asked about Fusion specifically because it seems to be preferred among users from what I've been reading. However, if it's one of those situations where parallels can do it but Fusion can't, then I'd be more than willing to go the parallels route. Thanks in advance for your help.
