Hey so my sister is thinking of getting a macbook but she needs to use windows for work purposes... I have a few questions before I advise her to get anything..

1. Which is SIMPLER to use for someone who has basic computer skills? VM Fusion or parallels?

2. Can I install the windows 7 student download onto this? or do i need a previous version to install then upgrade with the 7 student download?

3. will the 2GB ram in the macbook be enough to run multiple apps with windows open as well? or do I need to up it to 4GB??

Thanks for the help.

they both work the same, neither is easier than the other

you can always try the student edition, what do you have to lose?

Although I would install it via Bootcamp, then have VM or P "point" to the bootcamp install.

More ram can never hurt, and its cheap, but probably not necessary unless shes really gonna tax the system?

But we dont know how she uses it...
