Is Fusion safe to install on a mac with a bootcamp partition without having key issues?

The latest version of fusion says that it "Corrects a problem in which VMware Fusion encountered reactivation problems in the native Boot Camp partition and the Boot Camp virtual machine when installing Windows Vista SP1."

But I've read a few threads where people were having issues with keys bouncing back and forth between registered and unregistered when switching between native Boot Camp and Fusion environs.

I want to install Fusion (I already have my Boot Camp partition up and running fine) but I'm worried about running into activation issues that might be solved by the next update. However meanwhile, I'm sort of between a rock and a hard place since I'm leaving the country in less than a week and really would rather make any toll-free phone calls to microsoft now while those calls are still free.

Anybody with a Vista SP1 Boot Camp partition and Fusion that has problems? Anyone without any problems?
