vmoda and older headphones do not work well with the 3gs

i tried using my old vmoda headphones at the gym today and the remote is having issues. the remote isnt consistent in changing songs, pausing or getting voice control. its basically the luck of the draw each time you press it.

i guess ill get the apple earbuds for now and see what else they come out later.
