VMWare 3 or Parallel 5 for importing a PC

I have a pc that is only utilizing 25G of HD space. Previously only VMWare created a virtual machine with the size 25G, parallel (at least up until 4.0) created a virtual machine with the full size of the HD 60G whether it was used or not.

Is this still the case with parallel 5 so VMWare is still the best choice?

Otherwise from what I read Parallel now seems to be ahead of the game again speed wise, or?
