i just bought a macbook and i installed vmware fusion 1.0, later i found out that it cant run programs/games like maplestory because it doesnt support 3d, but from what i heard later versions of vmware do support 3d, only i cant find a free 30 days trial for newer versions, does anybody know a answer for my problem?

vmware version that does have 3d and wich i can try for free? link plx?
tryout version of parallels? link plz?
any 3d for my version of vmware?
other solution?

and does anybody know how to undo partitions i made on the hd?

ty very much, hey but how do i delete the partitions i made before? i made a partition with boothcamp and with fusion before, both i want to delete, the one is empty, the other has win2000 on it

You can delete your BootCamp partition with the BootCamp assistant you installed it with :)

BTW what hardware are you using? And hope that 3D support in VMWare will improve enough to satisfy your needs sooner rather than later...

i dont know the specifics of my graphics card, im using the cheapest macbook currently available 1049$ i believe, its 2ghz dual core, 1gb expandable memmory and 80gig hdd

OK, as with all Macbooks (and Minis for that matter) the graphics are ****** integrated GMA950 unfortunately, so don't expect too much from gaming.

the only game i play, is maplestory, wich is a 2d side scrolled mmorpg, with some flashy 2d skill images, it used a 3d driver but its just 2d, i dont need a good graphic card :p

ok i got a new problem, i installed parallel and i installed the game, when i tried to run it sais: failed to find the propher screen mode gr2d, i'v had this error before on my windows xp pc too, and then the sollution was to install directx and graphic drives, i installed directx on parallel but what do i do with the drivers??
