Vmware Fusion 12 creating guest OS Mac Big Sur stuck

I am attempting to create a guest OS on my 2014 iMac with Vmware Fusion 12 and using "Install MacOS Big Sur.app". The process gets to the screen displayed below but then I cannot select "Big Sur" with the mouse to make the process continue. Even release the mouse with Ctrl+Cmd doesn't allow me to continue nor does just hitting the Enter key. Any suggestions?
