Just curious what you all are planning to install on the upcoming (for the general public) release of vmware fusion 3 with aero support - Win 7 x64 or x32 on your intel mac mini. I have 4 gb of ram and I'd really like to keep Win 7 running in the background (for IE/MS office 2007). Not sure how sleep would work with this (i.e. does win 7 goto sleep nicely and wakeup when virtualized and if that slows down the sleep process). I'm thinking of giving Win 7 about 1.25Gb of ram. I have a feeling x64 will need more ram, but since I'm running x64 kernel of snow leopard and vmware fusion 3 is supposed to be x64, I'd prefer to have everything be x64. Having said that, the main app I need (outlook/office) isn't currently x64 so not sure of the point.
The other thing is the occasional casual gaming (CSS) would probably require bootcamp me thinks unless fusion 3 really wows with great directx support and fps.
