I saw a notice today from VMWare for a v5 upgrade.

A couple notable feature include retina support, usb 3.0 support, LM notifications and supposedly 40% improved battery life.
The only negative I see is cost - $49 - whether you are coming in fresh, from 3.0 or from 4.0. No loyalty reward, I suppose.
I am going to try the 30 day demo to confirm the 70 new features and improved performance are really there before shelling out another $49.
