G'day,

I can confirm that VMware Fusion 7 now has DirectX 11 graphics support.

Refer attachment and see the DX version.

DXDIAG informs you which version of DirectX installed on the system, not what version of D3D that is supported by your GPU (or VM, in this case).

D3D, the graphics module, is just one of about a dozen components of DirectX. The others aren't affected by the capabilities of your VM or hardware.

^ This.

It says right on the Fusion product page that only DX 9.0c is supported.

With Fusion 7, you can create virtual machines with up to 16 vCPUs, 8TB virtual disks, and up to 64 GB of memory to run the most demanding applications. You can now give graphics-intensive applications an additional boost by allocating up to 2GB of video memory to a virtual machine. And with powerful 3D graphics and support for OpenGL 2.1 and DirectX 9.0c Shader Model 3 graphics, Fusion 7 will make running highly demanding 3D applications like AutoCAD or SolidWorks a breeze.
