I just got the new MacBook Pro with the Retina Display. It has Mountain Lion on it and I upgraded to the latest 10.8.2.

I also got VMWare Fusion 5 (5.0.1). It works perfectly with Windows 7 and I am loving everything so far.

However now I want to create a virtual machine with Mountain Lion as the guest operating system. However there is no DVD-ROM provided with the machine!

So how on Earth do I install it on the virtual machine?

Thanks!

Thanks for the links. Seems very complicated! All to create a boot disk??? I had the MacBook Air and even that had a USB stick for the operating system to boot from.

So if I follow the procedure then I can make a USB stick which then I can boot from and also use to create a virtual machine?

If I buy the Mountain Lion App from the App Store for $20 can I save time and have the same result?

Finally does anyone know the licensing rules. Can one have one or more virtual machines running OS X on a host OS X?

Thanks!
