I'm looking for a solution to run Windows on my MBP, because some softwares don't work with Mac. Initially, I thought I'll make do with Wine but those don't really work with the softwares I want to use. But they do work with VMware Fusion and I'm guessing they'll work with Parallels too. I've tried Fusion and now I'll try Parallels. Fusion is not too bad except that I feel it is resource intensive and sometimes eats up my MBP's resources and battery as I can see from the energy impact. But I'm making this post to see what the general Mac community prefers: Fusion or Parallels.

I have MBP 13 2017.

P.S. Popular belief is Windows get viruses and Mac can't (very unlikely) get viruses. So does installing Windows put me at risk of getting a virus on my Mac OS? I will be doing banking and stuff on the Mac OS and will use Windows only to run the Windows-only softwares.
