Hi, I've tried both, and both run extremely slow on my macbook pro. It's a core 2 duo 2.8 ghz with 4 gb of ram.

I have 105 gb free, out of 450 gb.

I have allocated 2 gb of ram and 1 core of the cpu to the virtual machine.

What else am I doing wrong? I hear the hard drive churning all the time, but with 4 gb of ram, I always have at least 500 mb of free/inactive ram available.

Is this a disk fragmentation issue or something? It is so frustrating. Booting up windows vm takes 10 minutes, but even after that, it's still quite sluggish.

I'd appreciate some help. Thanks!
