Greetings...I tried posting this to the VMWare Fusion Community board to no avail...so I thought I would try posting here.
In VMWare Fusion 3...I have a shared folder in my Windows XP VM that points to a Snow Lepoard Server Share Point on my Mac Mini Server. I keep losing the connection when I suspend the virtual machine and I log out of my network account.
Is there a way to have the shared folder "reconnect" to the share point on the Mac Mini server when I restart the VM? Or does VMWare Fusion Shared folder persistence only work on folders on the local Mac file system only only?
I did try mapping a Windows Drive with the "Reconnect at logon" option selected to no avail as well. I do have the Sharepoint set to use the SMB protocol as well as AFP.
Attached is a summary of the things I have tried with screenshots.
Any direction is appreciated.
