**PROBLEM SOLVED**

I'm running Windows XP inside VMWare Fusion and I ran into some problems after I had to force shut down while the VM was open. Now when I launch the VM I don't seem to get any sound at all (have tried disconnecting/connecting sound) and I am also experiencing some video strangeness (Netflix instant watch seems to be going in slow motion now).

I had my VM backed up on my laptop since I just got back from vacation and was using it to watch some netflix so I figured I'd try opening that copy on my MacPro to see if the VM got corrupted since it could not be properly suspended. I ran into all the same problems with the copy of the VM from my laptop so it looks like some part of the Fusion software got corrupted. I suppose I could try to reinstall but I'm in the middle of some other things right now so will try that later. Has anyone else run into this problem or have any thoughts to what exactly might be going on?

EDIT: So this problem magically resolved itself. I did some other work and then just decided to try again and open the VM on my tower and somehow it magically my sound and video were working fine agian.
