Has anyone tried running Linux on their mac in a VM (VMware fusion)? I use VMware on my employer issued Windows machine to do embedded Linux development. I want to do the same on my, more portable, macbook. :D

I have Ubuntu installed on in a VirtualBox instance. Works as well as on any other platform.

I've never used VMWare Fusion but I believe it's intended to make Windows apps seem like native Mac apps. I can't imagine it would be good for running Linux but I can't say for sure.

It'll work fine and is supported by VMWare.
