VMWare on Macbook Pro, wifi printer won't show on windows side?

I have a macbook pro that I have vmware installed on as well and the wifi printer won't show on the windows side although it shows and prints just fine on the mac side.... i run this SAME setup on my thunderbolt air with no problems...any clue as to the problem?
