So I just upgraded to version 2.0 last night. I'm on a Macbook maxed at 3gig of ram. I've been running XP Pro and it was "OK". I run hefty programs like Visual Studio, SQL Server, etc. All development tools.

Anyway, 2.0 seems to be running much faster. So I'm trying to figure out if it's 2.0 or a couple of things that happened around the same time...

1.) I repaired my OSX disk permissions. I was going to install bootcamp but kept getting disk errors while partitioning (diff story)

2.) Disabled the 3d option in VMware.

Now I don't recall if 3d was enabled by default prior. If it was, it was always on. So from your experience, which of the 3 do you think has led to my better experience with VMware 2.0?

Thanks.
