I have been using Vmware Fusion for quite a while. I recently updated to the 2.0 version (latest updates, etc.). After the new update, which promised less cpu usage, the XP virtual machine has been utilizing over 100 % of my CPU, and more than 1 GB of RAM that I have allocated to it. I have 1 CPU given to it as well. Does anyone have ideas as to why it is using so much? It is running the temps up on my machine and thus the fans spin up faster. Beyond that annoyance I dont have as much CPU for other things. If anyone has ideas let me know. Im thinking about just reinstalling a brand new virtual machine, as I only use office to edit files over a VPN to my office. The CPU is continually at this load, by the way, it never drops below 80% when VMware is running.

How do I put an attachment up here and I can show you the screen shot of activity monitor?
