VMWare View Client 1.5 USB Passthrough

I am using VMWare View Client 1.5 (the latest MAC version) to connect to a VM desktop but I am unable to get any USB devices connected to the ports on my MBAir to passthrough to the VM desktop. Anyone have any ideas? I tried going into the vmware-view.rdp file and editing some items such as the DriveRedirectionMode but so far no luck. I know on the Windows version of the View Client there are options/settings relating to using USB passthrough and it's fairly easy to get it to work but I don't see any of those options in the MAC version.
