I need help quick.

I opened VMWare and my WinXP virtual machine was Paused. I unpaused and it and double clicked IE which said, "Service unavailable, machine shutting down." Sure enough within about 10 seconds, all my desktop icons disappeared and and the screen changing to the Windows logo and now it's completely frozen with the message, "Windows shutting down"

I've tried sending Ctrl-Alt-Del. I've tried shutting down guest. I've tried restarting guest. I've tried pausing VMWare, quitting the program and restarting it. Nothing works. If it was a "real machine" I'd physically turn it off and restart it, but I can't.

What can I do? Help.....

Solved. Needed to do a "Hard Reset" by pushing Option and then choosing "Power Off."
