Hi guys, I have tried to have remote access to my work PC on my Mac. The stuff I am using is Chicken of the VNC on Mac and TightVNC on my work PC, which is in our company internal network (behind router). On all websites I found, it states that I will need to setup the port forwarding on my work network router to remotely access it out of the network.

Unfortunately I do not have the access to the company router to configure the port forwarding. So I'm wondering if there is anyway I can do this without the access to the router?

Thank you sooooo much!

Nope. Without the router telling the client what server to connect to, no connection is possible.

You might look into GoToMyPC. It supposedly works without reconfiguring your router, but it's not free. Also, your IT dept. may have issues with you installing the client software on your work PC.
