Hey...long time lurker, first time poster. Been loving my iPad for the last few months. Have a question:

Received some DVD movies for Christmas and been experimenting with ways to get them on my iPad. I know about conversion programs that can convert to mp4, avi, but wanted to try a different route.

I have both VLC and Azul apps, which can play most file types.

I ripped the DVD to my Dell laptop with windows 7 and made an iso file, which did not play on the apps. So, I used magiciso and extracted the vob file, which DOES play wonderfully on the iPad, however only the background audio plays on the iPad, no dialogue. The vob file plays fine on my laptop with no audio issues.

Any idea why this may be? Sorry for the noob question. Thanks!
