Hi!
I'm writing on this message board today asking for some help regarding an issue that I've been having with my Garageband recordings.
First off, I want to see that it's really, really easy to use and intuitive. When I record something and mix it, I play it back on my headphones and it sounds great.
My problem is that when i go from playing my tracks on a pair of headphones to stereo speakers, the vocal tracks (in particular) sound different. It's as if all the treble on my vocal tracks has been lost, and I'm stuck with a sort of muffled, flat sounding vocal. I don't know if anyone else has encountered this problem...
I'm not sure if it's the dB level that I'm recording at, or something else... As of right now, I've been using a Shure SM58 microphone through a FastTrack recorder. I've also been filtering my vocals through an Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Plus just for some reverb effects, though I also use some of the Garageband effects.
If anyone had any pointers or hints that they could give me that might help solve this issue, that'd be greatly obliged!
Thanks!
