Hi everyone. I bought an iphone 6 plus from ebay. the seller said it was an unlocked phone but actually it wasn't.

the phone is still new and has never been activated before. after a search on the internet i found that all vodafone germany iphones will be unlocked in early 2015.

to activate and unlock my iphone, do i need an original vodafone germany sim? or i can just use mine?
