Vodaphone UK unlock 4S?

If I buy one on vodaphone from Gum tree or eBay will it be hard to unlock as I heard only vodaphone can do it?

You could do, but why you'd want to I don't know. Vodafone for me is the best carrier here in the UK, and I've been on O2, Orange and Vodafone.

Though I'm going to be changing to Talkmobile when my Vodafone contract runs out - they use Vodafone as a carrier but charge less than half what Vodafone do.

Been O2 for six years.

Just I could save £50 buying from the ad sites and it would be pointless if Vodaphone say we won't unlock it.

I wish that was the case here in Australia. Vodafone has to be one of the worst carriers of all here.

Vodafone charge £20 and then they will network unlock your phone. I had my iPhone 4 done recently before I sell it for my 4S

So do you just take it to the store to get unlocked?

So will it be free buying someones unwanted upgrade? Or do they class it as pay as you go?
