Voice calls on ipad?

Hi!Recently jailbroke my ipad and am very curious to know that is there any cydia app or hack which would let me place and receive phonecalls on my ipad?Please reply.

you can download the text free app from the app store and you can either buy minutes or get them free by downloading either free or paid apps and you get minutes in return

I was under the impression that google voice used cell minutes for phone calls. If that's not the case, that's sweet.

im not familar with truphone but i know you can not do that with google voice. google voice requires a phone line.

free app in the apple app store called, Whistle. Allows you to place and receive phone calls for free. You have to listen to a very short commercial before making a call but its pretty harmless.

that impression was correct, you cant use google voice to make phone calls on the ipad
