Voice Control Not Working

On my iPhone 4 voice control is not working (Not SIRI). I hold down the homebutton for about 4-6 seconds and it doesn't appear?? Please help I use voice control alot to play music. I also already tried to restore didn't work.

I like voice control.

Friends leave it enabled, so I hold down the home button and tell their phone to call me -- then while they phone is calling, I end the call and bypass their password screen entirely.

Does your Home button work otherwise? If your home button is flaky (due to a known design fault), then you would have problems activating Voice Control.

If/once you are on iOS 5, go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility ->Assistive Touch -> Assistive Touch [ON] to get an on-screen home button. It's annoying, but it works.

i'm using iOS5 GM and voice control is working fine.
