Hi Everyone,

I'm running into a small issue with a tweak im trying to make to my dialer sounds. So I SSH'd into my phone and found the UISounds folder and found the .caf files that create the dialer sounds.

I also went and got a theme called IElegance and got the UISounds folder from there and copied the .caf files from there to my phone.

I did all this because I dont want to install Winterboard and I do everything manually.

So As I was saying before, after a Respring, the dialer sound changed to voice sounds. BUT they are much lower than the older ones. they are barely hear-able on max volume.

I was wondering what I can do to fix this. On the computer the .caf files sound Perfect, just as loud as the backup copies of the old dialer sounds of my phone.

I read that on the 3G iPhone, they use to edit a .plist file. I'm guessing the other option would be to edit the .caf files and make them louder?

I tried to edit the .caf files and they never got louder. Can anyone help me achieve this? I can send you the .caf files I got from inside the IElegance.theme folder. Or if someone has that theme they can access that folder and get the files. Just copy them to your phone like I did and you will see that they are not loud at all.

Please if someone can help, let me know.

EDIT: Also It seems that replacing these .caf files effect the loudness of an app called CallTell, which is meant to announce the number calling. It seems that it put it to the same loudness as the loudness of these .caf files. WTH!!

Thanks in advance,
AE
