So I was just using my iPhone 4S to record a voice memo. After about 5 minutes, I got a phone call on the iPhone and ignored it. Then a few minutes later when I was finished with the voice memo, I looked at the iPhone to hit the stop button, but the iPhone was in sleep mode! I guess the phone call must have interrupted the recording and then the iPhone went to sleep, so it didn't record the final few minutes. Any way to disable interruptions like that?

I can only think of Airplane Mode if you're on iOS 5 or below or Do Not Disturb mode if you're on iOS 6.

As suggested above, airplane mode is one option. However if you would still like to be able to receive calls, you can have them forward to a different phone.
