Voice of the Apple Faithful

Questions for you all. Consider the Apple faithful.

You know who I mean. Those called part of the cult of the mac, the sheeple or iSheep, Preachers of the Book of Job or Wozard's Apprentice. The Apple Fanboy/girl.
  1. Where do you think these hard core users actually sit in terms of numbers. Have they decreased relative to the late 90s or are they just diluted by the success of Apple's mass market appeal?
  2. If Apple returned to their Sculley days how many people would actually stick around?
  3. When (year, product, etc.) do you think optimism for Apple change from a description of passion to tech-slur?
  4. What would it take to return to the glory days of Apple Optimism?

Apple, since 2011, being under different leadership was bound to change. To some people that change was negative. But the financials tell a different story.

I think the "glory days" of Apple optimism are now behind them and people will either stick with Apple or bail.
