Voicemail alerts messed up big time, Help!

So,

I got a load of voices mail alerts the other day and then i checked my voice mail and i had one voice mail... Now i have deleted the voice mail and the little red button on the phone button is still there. It's doing my head in.

What can i do?

I'm on 1.1.4 and unblocked and jailbroken to Orange.
