I am in the middle of switching to the AT&T mobile share plan from a regular plan.

According to an email I got from AT&T: "All existing voicemails will be deleted within 24 hours once the Mobile Share update is complete."

It says to click on the FAQ link to learn how to save voicemails, but the link doesn't say anything about this.

Has anyone experienced voicemails actually being deleted during the switch?

Thanks!

Mine weren't deleted. I switched on Sunday and I've got voicemails going back to early January that are still there.

I believe they're deleted on AT&T's end, but since we have Visual Voicemail, your messages have already been downloaded to your phone and will still be there.

Step back and look at the big picture. No carrier would cause you to lose your messages. It makes no sense.

Yea, I saw that notice too.

Did not notice any messages going away. Maybe they are just covering their a$$.
